Asgardian Lovers: Prologue

Asgard



       It was a beautiful day in the golden city; the sun glistened along the seas that stretched from port to port. One day, two boys were born; they were brothers, Thor and Loki. They grew up to be strong warriors. Loki, a trickster and manipulator of magic. Thor, a strong man who wielded the power of Mjölnir.

       It was the day Odin was to pick one of his sons to be king of Asgard, Loki and Thor were getting ready for the ceremony where Odin would announce one of his sons names.

       Thor was straightening his cape when he saw his brother, Loki, walk into the room.

       “Ah, hello dear brother, are you ready for the ceremony?” Thor asked.

       Loki gave a small but nervous nod, “Are you ready?” Loki asked in a soft timid tone, “Thor, I have a confession to make” Loki said.

       “It will have to wait brother, the ceremony is about to start” Thor chuckled.

       “I must tell you now Thor!” Loki didn’t want to have to raise his voice.

        Thor pulled Loki out of the room and walked down the hallway, “What is it brother?” Thor asked opening the doors into the throne room, Thor smiled and waved at all the people of Asgard who were cheering Thor’s name. Loki sighed and didn’t say word slowly walking up and standing beside his mother Frigga.
